Casa Irena is a hugely spacious 4-bedroom villa with its own pool, set within a 5-minute walk of Carvoeiro's restaurants, bars, mini-supermarkets and shops. Single-storey throughout, with all four bedrooms opening off a generous lounge, it's an easy, comfortable layout for families and groups. Air conditioning runs throughout, and a separate roof terrace adds a sea-view spot for evening drinks at sunset.
The villa sleeps up to 8, plus 1 baby in a cot. Hire a car if you'd like to explore further afield, but for daily life in Carvoeiro you genuinely don't need one.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms
There are four good-sized bedrooms: two doubles and two twins, all opening off the central lounge. Three bath/shower rooms in total, all generously sized. The single-storey layout means no stairs inside the house.
Living Space
The large open-plan lounge and dining area is the heart of the villa, with a log-burning fire for cooler evenings, a large wall-mounted TV with UK channels and DVD, and free Wi-Fi. Patio doors open straight onto the pool terrace.
Kitchen
A fully equipped kitchen with everything you'd want for a relaxed self-catering stay: cooker with oven, dishwasher, washing machine, and microwave.
Pool & Outdoor Areas
The pool sits at the centre of the outdoor space, surrounded by mature gardens. Eight sunbeds and parasols give plenty of room for a full house, and there's an outdoor shower and a purpose-built brick BBQ for long lunches and easy evening meals. The pool runs from 0.8 metres at the shallow end to 1.80 metres at the deep end, comfortable for paddling toddlers and proper swimming alike. Pool heating is available on request for cooler months.
A separate roof terrace, accessed via external stairs, has a table and chairs and superb sea views. It's the place to be at sunset.

Casa Irena is within an easy 5-minute walk of central Carvoeiro, putting restaurants, bars and the main square right on your doorstep.
Both Carvoeiro beach and Centeanes beach are within a 10-minute walk, giving you a genuine choice of where to spend the day.
Once a fishing village, Carvoeiro has grown into a thriving holiday resort while keeping much of its old-town charm: whitewashed houses, painted boats, and a clifftop walk that traces the coast east toward the Algar Seco rock formations.
Several more beaches sit within a 15-minute drive, including Praia da Marinha and the famous Benagil sea cave.
Around 10 minutes by car you'll find three championship 18-hole golf courses, Slide & Splash water park, and the daily market town of Lagoa.
A little further (around 20 minutes) is Zoomarine, where the children can swim with dolphins, as well as the beautiful old town of Silves with its Moorish castle.
